This is a %100 authentic Heian tofukuji pot. The provenance is 2nd to none. It’s got a dark blue glaze and if the glaze were lighter the excellent patina would show up much better in the pictures. It does have a small firing crack. But the pot was made well enough for him to glaze it. Please don’t confuse this a drop crack. A firing crack simply happens during the firing process and the price is adjusted because of that. Cracked pots carry a much higher value decrease. This is a great little piece for the tofukuji or fine pot collectors out there. Stand(s) not included.
