Ready for growing new top and branching. These get real twiggy real fast making tiny leaves. Strong tree ready for someone to make it their own. Nice branching and great muscular bark with wonderful seasonal color. Trunk is 7 inches above 13 inch base with great nebari filling the pot. 35 inches above soil. This is an outdoor tree. Old escambron bonsai, field collected from Costa Rica

I will be listing the rest of my bonsai now. These are ones that i simply have been unable to work the last few years due to chronic illness. They need to find another bonsai enthusiast who can work them like they deserve.

Any questions or need dimensions, just let me know. Please note – my bonsai pots are nice pots, mostly yixing clay, so they are thick and heavy. The pot for this bonsai has a slight crack on a corner.

(grown by steve price from lone pine gardens, ca). Plastic bonsai pot – 15″x15″x6″ – deep 6″ pot filled with boon’s mix !! Height from soil line – 17″ – canopy width – 18″ – base of trunk – 4.

This tree was hand selected and potted into. “boon’s mix” (akadama, lava, pumice).

The tree is responding really well to the repotting since september 2013. Steve salisian (a student of ryan neil) picked this tree and personally repotted it in 9/2013. I have taken 12 weekend classes with ryan neil at bonsai mirai cared for this tree myself. I have not missed any waterings since i have owned this tree and certify it’s healthy! Very healthy no field soil remains !!
