Indoor Bonsai

This is a %100 genuine (a COA can be requested if desired) Heian Tofukiji Sr. The only japanese potter in which an entire book was dedicated just to his great works. I’m a huge collector of his works. They are s precious and beautiful. This exceptional piece has a very unique pattern to the clay. And has a kowatari style drain hole (very large indicative of the chinese kowatari pots era). It does had a chip under one foot that barely visible while the pot is standing naturally. The pot is about 50-80 years old as he died in 1970. There are some extremely small and minimal chips along the rim as well. Common with such an old piece that was well used. I’ve seen and probably owned more Tofukuji pots than anyone outside Japan and I’ve only seen one with the same size drain hole. And it was glazed and cost over 1,000,000 jpy. (Kokufu 2015 I saw it).
