This pot from the nakawari era, 120-150 years old antique Chinese pot. It’s worthy of a show like gafu-ten, the next Shohin exhibition in the world held in Japan each year. This is a very rare style pot along with the glaze color. Tough to really say what the original glaze color is. Loads of patina and an unusual glaze color, along with the shape, makes this a show stopper. Truly the only I’ve seen for sale and a pot I’ve owned for a while. Has a few small chips. 2 of which (photo’s) are relatively new. And one chip very old. All of the chips are shown below. Rings like a bell. No cracks at all. Pot size, in inches. 7 3/4 wide (measured point to point). 6 3/4 wide (measured flat edge to flat edge).
