I love Engelmann Spruce almost as much as I love Redwoods. They have a peaceful feeling to them, very delicate foliage, aged bark, great movement… They are the American equivalent of Ezo Spruce from Japan. This tree was originally collected by Randy Knight of Oregon 3 years ago, styled by me 2 years ago, and potted in this amazing Jim Gremel pot 2 years ago in a Japanese Pre-mix soil. This tree is just budding out and starting to drop its old needles, creating a very pretty contrast of greens. It is completely wired and styled, and should make an incredible addition to someone’s collection! As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
