Correct care is to maintain it in a sheltered outdoor location or to over winter it in a unheated garage or shed. If your over winter outdoors, it should be sheltered or mulched but it must not be covered with plastic or anything which would prevent natural watering. We do combine Trees with drip trays & other small items such as moisture meters, fertilizer etc, whenever possible, as long as there is no danger to the tree. If necessary plastic wrap can be secured with PACKING Tape, wrapped completely around the pot. All other original packing must be utilized.
