Bonsai tree Japanese maple arkawai cork bark 8year rooted cutting. Tree was 7 ft tall cut back over the winter I just got through pruning the top of it. Very hard to come by stocktruth ready to start putting branches on it within the next two years the tree will be almost all the way covered in the rough bark very vigorous grower. Basically amounts to an arkawa stump. This is how we do it. You have to grow it up tall and then cut it off if you want any trunk diameter now start building the bonsai.
