Bonsai Japanese Trident maple massive trunk show ready. It is in a very old stamped brown tokoname pot, that is, 16×12 inches by 2 1/4inches tall. The tree is 9″ tall from the soil line, it is 8″ wide, it has a massive trunk (see photos) that is 10.75 in diameter. This tree was brought back from Japan by my father when he served this country. He passed the tree on to me but. My father won several show in all three Sacramento cubs, bonsai siekuki, American bonsai , and Sacramento bonsai clubs, ranging from best of show to people’s choice. It has been repotted, decandled, pinched backh and fertilized at all of the apropiate times. I know the new owner will get the same gratification out of this prize tree that I have.
