Impressive bonsai trident maple forest in a 17 nice ceramic bonsai clay pot. The glossy foliage emerges with a reddish color and then changes to dark green. In fall, the foliage takes on shades of yellow, orange and even some purple (depending on the location of the tree in your garden) as it can see in the current pictures. Very nice group of 10 trees in a pot making a very nice piece of forest. The trunks and branches can be wired for better movement and can even be rearranged if desired. Some of the trees are planted over rock so it can be exposed in future re-poting creating a more dramatic group. Decorative elements in the pictures are not included. Due to the high weight of the pot, the tree will be sent without it or changed for a plastic one. It is the buyers responsibility to become informed of their local/state restrictions. The Norfolk Island Pine is an open and airy conifer (cone bearing tree) with light green foliage that turns darker with age. This evergreen bonsai is one of the best known trees from the South Pacific. It tolerates warm temperatures, and is forgiving if you forget to water it, but it doesn’t love full and blinding sunshine. This indoor forest group planting is very easy to care for, and is fun to decorate for the holiday season. A ceramic bridge is cemented to the rocks on either side. A pagoda figurine is also added and cemented to the stone located above the bridge. To complete this tranquil scene, we cement a miniature, glazed, fisherman figurine overlooking the water holding a fishing pole and fish. The entire landscape is arranged in an attractive, glazed, imported ceramic container. Each tree is 5 years old, 11″ – 12″ tall. Planted as a stone landscape in a special pot. Bonsai Japanese bonfire maple shohin mame show ready 37yrs. This little gem is in an old stamped tokanme pot that is, 8×6 inches by 3. Inch hight. It is just fantastic. The tree is 14 inches from the soil line and is 9 inches wide. It has a massive massive trunk that is 1.25 inches, see photos has just amazing structure ad ramification to it. It was my fathers his pride and joy and would show it every year in the american bonsai club here in sacramento ca. He won several awards over the years ranging from best show in mame shohin class to members choice. It is one of the best shown mame bonfire japanese maples I have ever seen, it truly takes my breath away every time i see it. I have owned it for 8years and have enjoyed working on it and viewing it. As can be seen the structure is amazing , achieve from decades of wiring, pinching and trimming. It also has the just amazing colors in the falll ranging from light yellow, to dark yellow, just very elegant. As can be seen in the photos this jp bonfire has some of the best colors, red orangish fringe around leafs. It has been repotted, trimmed pinched backh and fertilized at all of the apropiate times. I know the new owner will get the same gratification out of this prize tree that I have.
