Root over rock, or Sekjoju styled Chinese elm. This Sekjoju arrangement stands 16 tall, from the bottom of the pots feet, to the trees top. Its sensuous, trunk line, evokes, the image of a dragon ascending a mountain spire. The limestone spire, is riddled with tiny quarts crystal, throughout. The stone was collected in Virginia. The flower shaped, unglazed, Yixing Zisha pot is of the highest quality, measuring 9 1/4 in diameter and is 2 7/8 tall from the bottom of its three cloud feet to top its lip. This pot is marked with a Chinese Chop. I have personally tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. As with all bonsai, the training never stops.
