You will receive the exact tree in the photos. This is one of the most well developed trees I currently have. It’s a very old tree and has been in training with me since 2012. The branch structure and ramification is quite mature. The bark, nebari and overall feeling of age in the tree is exceptional. It flowers several times a year and smells much like orange blossoms (thus the name). At this point this tree only needs what the future owner sees as improvements to the design. Strelitzia reginae, common name: Orange Bird of Paradise, Orange Bird3 Gallon. A wonderful, tropical looking plant, bringing both color and texture to any garden. Orange Bird’s feature diminutive banana like leaves, vibrant orange flowers(in the shape of a colorful bird, hence the name), and produce multiple slender trunks, creating an impressive tropical appearance. Also noteworthy, Bird’s make excellent indoor plants, growing quite well in containers for many years. Expect this plant to grow quickly, especially in the warmer months, rapidly pushing new leaves, and growing numerous trunks. Mature Bird’s can reach heights of 4-6 feet, can easily be trimmed to accomodate most any space, and are cold hardy to 25 degrees farenheit. These appreciate ample water, respond well to fertilizing, and are not finicky about soils. Plant in shade or full sun. Extremely attractive near a water feature, patio, or veranda. These have heavy root systems. Once plants arrive, they will benefit from being kept in a 5-15 gallon container, slightly moist, warm, and in a fast draining soil, such as Supersoil, or a quality Cactus-Mix(available at any Home Improvement or local Nursery Supply Center), or in the ground. Smaller plants typically favor shade, filtered sun, or partial sun until establishedapprox. 2′-3′ tall or larger, when they can handle more/full sun. These plants should be planted at a soil height slightly above where the roots graduate from the base. This seeds taken from a organic fruit orange-colored, tender, juicy, aromatic, rich flavor. Mandarin oranges are usually eaten plain, for juice or in fruit salads. Great for bonsai or ornamental tree. Fruit: the bright orange fruits of the mandarin are well known and loved. They’re juicy and sweet, and have an advantage over most other citrus fruits in that they’re very easy to peel. The fruit is oblate, rather than spherical, and roughly resembles a small pumpkin in shape. Mandarins are usually eaten plain, or in fruit salads and kids love to lie under the tree and eat them by the dozen. This is certainly because the fruit is easily peeled. Growth habit: the mandarin is an attractive, sub-tropical evergreen tree. It’s naturally a small tree growing to 2 – 3 m in height, making it an ideal fruit tree in backyards that have limited space.
