This tree grows very quickly and is incredibly thorny, please be advised. It does make up for that aspect by producing super small leaflets. Nice tree with okay taper and awesome branching. Nebari needs some serious work and there are some large trunk chop scars that haven’t healed quite yet. Measurements: Height: 16″ Width: 17″ Trunk Diameter: 3″ Nebari (root spread): 5″. Hardiness Zones: 9 -11. This tree ships semi bare root – loose soil is gently worked away and the rootball is plastic wrapped. Hard to find dwarf japanese cedar(tansu variety) for miniature bonsai material. Beautiful deep green foliage is hard and dense and formsa conical shape. Evergreen dwarf conifer that is very slow growing and ideal for rock gardens and small bonsai.
