This tree is now totally dormant without leaves. This tree was started from a single root cuttings, 12 years ago. It stands 17 tall with an angulating trunk and exposed surface roots. The canopy has had 3 spring trimming thus far. Planted in an quality Chinese illustrated, unglazed quality pot with chop mark. It measures 6 in diameter and is 3 1/2 tall from the bottom of its feet to the top lip. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a root cutting from its parent tree. Every few years I produce a few of these trees and this one has shown to have developed well. It has been repotted this spring and shows great vigor. This tree has been wired at many stages during its development to achieve this styling and has some training wires in place now.
