Kingsville Boxwood Buxus Microphylla Compacta Bonsai. This Bonsai has superior exposed surface roots and great taper. It is 15 years old and was grown from a select Kingsville Boxwood cutting. It stands 12 1/2 tall, from the bottom of the pots feet to the trees top. Its planted in a blue/green, glazed Japanese pot. There is an identifying, glazing, anomaly on the pots front lip, edge. The pots measures 7″ x 5 1/2″ and 2 1/8 from the pots lip to the base of its feet. The pot stamped “JAPAN” on the underside. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. As with all bonsai, this tree is in continual training and has training wires in place.
