San Jose juniper bonsai stock. Height – 10 inch. Canopy width – 8 inch. Diameter – 1 inch. Flare at soil level – 1 1/2 inch. Features – This is a nice field grown San Jose juniper. The San Jose juniper is one of my favorite junipers. The have a unique flaky bark as the tree ages. The tree does not grow upright, however they can be trained to grow in any direction. They are very conducive to jins and sharis to increase the appearance of age. This tree had many branches that were not where I wanted them. I cut them all off and wired the branches that were left. Now we wait for the tree to fill in. In a few years the tree can be placed into a nice pot. This little guy is honestly being robbed by the 2D in the pics. Few branches Ive wired to where I believe is a good position. Ive enjoyed watching it for a couple seasons and really dont want to let it go, but Im trying to sponsor a bigger project so I decided that someone else can enjoy its beauty now. Its living in a little mica pot that I think is the perfect size for the tree. If youre really into bonsai then I can guarantee youll love it and will agree that pics arent doing it justice.
