This tree has was first collected in the 80’s as a large yard tree. The same owner had the tree up until early 2019 when they were being overwhelmed by the size of their collection and I was able to help them offload a few trees. This crape is exhibiting beautiful fluting and the whole trunk is totally hollow, clear signs of its age.
