This pot was made by Fugushige also known more commonly in the west as Bushuan. Hes a very famous modern day potter than announced his retirement from pots making. Awesome Blue Hand Painted Shohin Size Bonsai Tree Pot Made By Ito Gekkou 6 1/16

This beautiful hand painted pot was done by Ito Gekkou. He’s a modern day potter but towards the end of his era at around 80 years old. He’s painted bonsai pots for over 50 years and is regarded as Japan’s best and a modern day legend. I love this blue pot. Comes with box and cloth both signed and stamped by the man himself. I’ve seen his pots truly increase in value and they will certainly jump when he no longer paints pots. Stand(s) not included. Awesome Worm Hole Style Yamaaki Tokoname Bonsai Tree Pot 12 1/2 Great Character

This is a beautiful older worm hole or worm eaten style yamaaki pot. The really cool thing with this one is the small dab of blue glaze is that is on the side of the pot. More likely is that there was a glazed pot above it that had some glaze drip off and hit this pot during firing. The maker of this pot died in 1990 so the pot has some Years on it for side. Harland Boxwood Bonsai Tree, Awesome Trunk

Up for sale is a nice harland boxwood bonsai. It has a subtle slant style which is one of my favorites. The best part of the tree is the corky bark which makes the tree look ancient. It’s about 11″ tall from the soil line and 12″ wide. The trunk is over an inch thick and the nebair is about 3 at it’s widest point. Comes in ceramic pot 9.5″x8″. This tree can be cut back to smaller shohin size bonsai. This tree like part shade, do not expose it to full sun so you won’t get leaf burn. In New Jersey I leave it out Spring, Summer & Fall, and then bring it inside in the Winter (unheated basement); this tree needs to experience seasonal changes. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING! This pot was made by Sano Daisuke. He died in the year 2000 and his pots are coveted all over the world. This is a truly unique piece that you will either love or hate. The unique handmade paint motif and the demon feet which he added before he fired the pot. Please note there is a slight glaze split between the pot body and a demon feet. Awesome 25 Yr Old Specimen English Ivy Shohin Bonsai Adopt One Of My Kids

COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE IN. SHOHIN BONSAI & MINIATURE SUISEKI. FROM AROUND THE WORLD! COMMON NAME: English Ivy. BOTANICAL NAME: Hedera helix “Curly”. SIZE: (not including pot) 9 Tall, 3 root spread. CONTAINER: Stoneware rectangle, striking rusty glaze with green drip is perfect for all seasons. I respectfully left it in the show but I sure wanted to enjoy it in my hotel room that night. The original owner started it from a cutting in a 4 plastic pot over 25 years ago. He is a gifted student of world renown bonsai master Kathy Shaner. You can see the influence of her sublime taste and technique. I have really enjoyed refining it further. This bonsai has the most impressive twisting trunk and branches while maintaining its classic style. Its small wavy leaves are perfect and can be easily reduced further to fingernail size if you want. Check out the picture of it potted in white and decorated in mini lights on Christmas Eve sitting by the hot tub. It is now potted in a tasteful rust and green glazed container that complements it beautifully. This is a great opportunity to add a truly special shohin ivy specimen bonsai to your collection.
