Shimpaku juniper Bonsai, wire trained into a slant style in a Chinese unglazed Yixing Zisha pot, measuring 6 1/4 in diameter and 2 5/8 tall, with chop marks. This arrangement stands 9 1/2 tall. The tree extends approximately 9 from the pots side. The trunk has a split bamboo support at the edge of its pot. This Tree was grown from a cutting, taken approximately 14+ years ago. It has had water channel cutting, Shari and Jin were added, as well as repeated wire training over the years to result in this shape and style. Most of the wires, both Copper and aluminum, can begin to be removed near the end of this summer 2020. Pinch and grow will be its development path from this stage on. It was repotted late winter 2020 and shows great vigorous growth and future potential. There is organic fertilizer on the soil surface. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. It has training wires in place. 30 year old Kingsville Boxwood Bonsai, Buxus microphylla compacta. This tree was started from a select cutting 30 years ago. Has been grown and developed in nursery pots before potting as Bonsai. It now stands 13 5/8 tall, from the bottom of the pots feet to the trees top. This tree has excellent exposed surface roots/nimbari, beautiful sinuous trunk supporting a lush ratified, full canopy with mature small leaves. Its planted in a top quality Chinese drum style pot. It measures 5 7/8 in dispatch the top lip and is 3 3/8 deep from the pots feet to the lip. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. Shimpaku juniper Itoigawa, twin trunk. Wire trained into a sensual dragon style, potted in a very fine Chinese unglazed Yixing Zisha pot, measuring 6 1/4 in diameter and 2 5/8 tall, with chop marks. This arrangement stands 12 1/4 tall. The trees overall canopy at its widest measures approximately 12. This Tree was grown from a cutting, taken approximately 14+ years ago. Both copper and aluminum wire are used in the creation of this design. Pinch and grow will be its development path from this stage on. It was repotted late winter 2020 and shows great vigorous growth and good future potential. Wire removal can begin in late summer- winter 2020. There is organic fertilizer on the soil surface. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree. It has training wires in place. This tree has a unique trunk scar that is the result of removing a large branch and scaring the trunk for greater character. Its canopy is just wider than its pot. Planted in an elegant Yixing Zisha Chinese Pot. I have tended this tree from its beginnings, as a cutting from its parent tree.
